It goes without saying that the Ice Bucket Challenge was an enormous success. Our very own Scott Minor got to say thank you for the ALS Association as the announcer in this official video tribute from the national, non-profit organization.
Check it out, PBS sampled two audio clips from Scott’s College for America VO. Very cool. In the transcript he’s listed as Narrator but we know it’s Scott. Here’s the full video if you are interested in either this innovative program and/or Scott’s narration style:
The featured image for this post is how our favorite online collage generator imagines one of the couples featured in the Capitol Federal Fall Lending Radio campaign we produced this week. Not bad work there, Net.Art Generator. Maybe you robots are OK after all. More importantly, hats off to the humans that put this together.[…]
Good stuff from Doug – this is the Monsters Calling Home video they shot, recorded, and performed inside their Hondas. Wowzers. I feel sorry for their drummer. This reminds me of the time we booked a revision with a voice talent who was on vacation. He had to drive to a hot spot he found[…]
Here’s another TV spot we helped to cast and score. This spot was running a lot during the Olympics so I saw it a bunch this August. After many viewings I have to say I still really like what our announcer did with that last line, “Only in Arkansas.” Nailed the landing. 16.5!
For “Baptist Memorial Health Care – 100 Years of Care” we needed to cast a big voice… an important voice, a voice…for the ages. Someone that could evoke the Greatest Generation… and more. I think we found the right guy. Lest we forget, the right piece of music was also an integral part of this[…]
So… we’ve got a new VO booth. It’s pretty cool. We’ll have hi-res pictures soon. But, so far, the talent’s been diggin’ our new digs. Here’s an Instagram I got of Adrian last week. Maybe this can be a new thing too. Instead of Sleeve Faces we can start shooting Script Faces.
So, last month, we went on location to help That Guy From Riverfest with a mobile recording. And yes, this involved much more than taping the lav mic to his chest, thank you very much. Live recordings are always exciting and this project was no exception. We were glad to hear that everything turned out[…]
Here’s a re-branding video we recently produced for our friends at Third Degree. And dig Tara’s awesome post about the campaign! Who knew ABNB stood for Apples Bananas Nuts and Berries? Sweet!
This summer we helped Red Deluxe produce these wonderful American Lung Association PSAs. The casting call for this job was wide open. Early on, we had a super raspy sounding guy on this. But we really needed someone unique for these spots. Now that I am watching these PSAs again, I can’t imagine anyone else[…]
