This recent Soybean radio spot for Valent gave us the chance to build some tension with a metronome. Here’s the SFX cues from the script: SFX: Metronome continues. Other percussive instruments layer in. SFX: More instruments layers in, we’re going from an isolated tick-tock to a pulsing cadence. SFX: Full crescendo. Almost like a march.[…]
It’s always cool helping our clients win awards. Check out the NAMA awards Archer Malmo raked in last year! Doubly cool is John_316’s low-key, conversational, non-announcer announcer VO bringing home the bacon… er… cotton… on this video for the Cotton Board’s “Renew Your Faith in Cotton” Agribusiness Campaign.
Our first ADDY… I mean, RADDY… for 2016 is this Silver radio winner we produced for Zehnder Communications in Nashville for Stevi B’s Pizza Buffet. The trick to casting this announcer was finding an “edgy” guy who could turn up the smile just a skosh with the “Then it hits you” line. Nice work, Robert.[…]
Though we didn’t handle licensing Sweet’s “Swagger” for Homewood Suites “Book Direct” campaign, we can brag about casting the announcer. Andy sure sounds sweeeeet!
Well Ahead LA from Zehnder on Vimeo. Here’s an instance where our sound desingn and casting walked hand in hand. Not only did we cast the announcer for these spots but we also created all of the sports audio footage. The assignment was to make it sound like we had lifted NAT sound from locker[…]
It’s always fun as *bleep* producing spots with Robot House Creative! This recent radio for Renaissance Spa is sure to turn some heads this Xmas.
This year, we helped the Carti Cancer Center promote their new treatment center by casting and recording the VO for their 2015/16 TV and Radio spots. The wanted a “unique” voice with a “quiet confidence.” Catherine was the perfect fit.
Hey. We are a small business. So we are all for Small Business Saturday! Here’s the :30 and :15 radio we produced for the Cox “Small Business Saturday” campaign. It’s like the TV but different. Hats off to our announcer Bob_222 for making these sound great! agency: ghost
Well.. casting this wasn’t triple tuff. The client needed the voice of a baseball-cap wearing DIYer. We’ve got quite a few guys who fit that bill but Dave_296 booked the job. And got ‘er done! agency: red deluxe
For a new series of Nebraska Tourism videos aimed at a younger generation, our client was looking for “a young, energetic, and relatively high pitched female.” Wouldn’t that be nice? Well, we found her. AJ is one of our up and coming superstars around here. And she really got a chance to hone her announcer[…]
This happy campaign for Capitol Federal is such a great way to start the new year. Here’s to more happiness and laughter in 2015!
Mix. Sweeten. Call it what you will. We worked on these. But the magic in these spots is in the voices. These three players have conviction. Linebacker Charles Harris. Tailback Brandon Hayes. Cornerback Bobby McCain. These guys mean it. You can hear it. Hats off to the agency for letting their words breathe.
One of our most memorable characters to cast this year has been “Henry” for the Mutual Fund Store. Henryhenryhenry. Henry’s a bit of a grouch. He just doesn’t give a flip anymore. And why should he? He’s retiring. In other spots in this campaign we’ve heard Henry talk sports, give a wedding speech, and wax[…]
In addition to our regularly scheduled work, Scott has been posting audio for the Pre-Post Humanist‘s new “Reading Out Loud” series. These are awesome stories, and not just because Scott mixes them. You’ll have to check ’em out to see what I mean. Follow them here and here.
Our friends at 360º filmworks just posted links to the new UALR campaign that we worked on. Our job was to record the student testimonials, license music for each of the four spots, and mix the final results. The spots do a handsome job of incorporating the look and immediacy of social media. We enjoyed[…]
The featured image for this post is how our favorite online collage generator imagines one of the couples featured in the Capitol Federal Fall Lending Radio campaign we produced this week. Not bad work there, Net.Art Generator. Maybe you robots are OK after all. More importantly, hats off to the humans that put this together.[…]
