This month, we were honored to record Monica Potts reading her new memoir “The Forgotten Girls” coming out April 2023 on Penguin Random House.

One of the tougher projects we worked on over the winter was this Valent radio campaign. The casting call was for : female with a neutral accent; tough—not necessarily Kathleen-Turner gruff—but mature Our client sent over mockups of their print campaign to help us get the idea. Literally tough. But what was really fierce about[…]
This new radio spot produced for Eric Rob & Isaac asked our voice talent, Jennifer_132, to sound harried but not stressed. VOICE: Smart, funny mom; upbeat, likeable and relatable – NOT irritated about shopping Jennifer nailed the performance in her first take! Which is no small feat in any production. And if you hadn’t noticed,[…]
Robot House Creative has once again brought the goods (or maybe I should say seasonal goodies) with this new radio spot for the holiday season. It’s got everything: CVS receipts, Michael Bublé, avocado toast, life coaches. I have to say, this one goes right up there with “Bucket of Gravy” as one of my favorite[…]
We are proud to be a part of the Sport Clips “Help a Hero” program again this year. In 2017 this promotion raised $1.25 million for the VFW and $4.9 million in scholarships. For their 2018 video, we cast and recorded Gabe as the announcer and then worked extensively on the sound design for this[…]
We knew this spot was going to be special the moment we opened up the mic with our voice talent Dave. There’s something kaleidoscopic about his voice that covers all the feels for this spot about home and place. In four short lines of copy, Dave sounds wise, folksy, aspirational, authoritative and caring. Not an[…]
Is it too early to talk about the holiday season? We think not. Especially when we have a super cute, stop motion video like this one to brag about. BTW we had a blast with this music search. You gotta love it when your client asks for something retro with a Danny Elfman-vibe. Thanks to[…]
We are seriously pumped to have been a part of the “Seriously Great Pizza” campaign. Best of show, yo! It’s always a blast working with Robot House Creative and Digital DK. And let’s not forget our talent Neal_655 for bringing all the omnumnumnumnumnumnums.
This recent Soybean radio spot for Valent gave us the chance to build some tension with a metronome. Here’s the SFX cues from the script: SFX: Metronome continues. Other percussive instruments layer in. SFX: More instruments layers in, we’re going from an isolated tick-tock to a pulsing cadence. SFX: Full crescendo. Almost like a march.[…]
It’s always cool helping our clients win awards. Check out the NAMA awards Archer Malmo raked in last year! Doubly cool is John_316’s low-key, conversational, non-announcer announcer VO bringing home the bacon… er… cotton… on this video for the Cotton Board’s “Renew Your Faith in Cotton” Agribusiness Campaign.
Our first ADDY… I mean, RADDY… for 2016 is this Silver radio winner we produced for Zehnder Communications in Nashville for Stevi B’s Pizza Buffet. The trick to casting this announcer was finding an “edgy” guy who could turn up the smile just a skosh with the “Then it hits you” line. Nice work, Robert.[…]
Though we didn’t handle licensing Sweet’s “Swagger” for Homewood Suites “Book Direct” campaign, we can brag about casting the announcer. Andy sure sounds sweeeeet!
Well Ahead LA from Zehnder on Vimeo. Here’s an instance where our sound desingn and casting walked hand in hand. Not only did we cast the announcer for these spots but we also created all of the sports audio footage. The assignment was to make it sound like we had lifted NAT sound from locker[…]
It’s always fun as *bleep* producing spots with Robot House Creative! This recent radio for Renaissance Spa is sure to turn some heads this Xmas.
This year, we helped the Carti Cancer Center promote their new treatment center by casting and recording the VO for their 2015/16 TV and Radio spots. The wanted a “unique” voice with a “quiet confidence.” Catherine was the perfect fit.
Hey. We are a small business. So we are all for Small Business Saturday! Here’s the :30 and :15 radio we produced for the Cox “Small Business Saturday” campaign. It’s like the TV but different. Hats off to our announcer Bob_222 for making these sound great! agency: ghost
